The sack-back style settee is one of the rarest of Windsor’s styles ever built. Very few were made, and even fewer have survived.  The 42” love seat is unusual with its deep contoured oval shaping and carved gutter.  There are 18 spindles in the back and two short spindles on each side supporting the arm rail. The entire chair is supported by six vase and urn legs and appropriate stretchers.
